Since we're off the topic anyway. For all those who are going to The Gathering, are you bringing your ladies with you?

Also if you are would eith of you be interested in a food and wine pairing seminar @ 11 on Saturday? It is $5 a person and you have to sign up in advance.

I'm pretty sure my wife is coming.  She'll love it  Roll Eyes  We're not wine drinkers so not sure about the seminar though.

I'm bringing someone.  I'm sure we will do the winery tour/sampling.  But I don't think we'll do the pairing seminar.

My girlfriend will be going with me.  My mom and my sister are here visiting from up north that weekend so they'll probably go as well.

That is going to be a tight fit in the Elise!

We are certainly going to do the tour/sampling. Once everybody gets there, we should all head up together.

LOL, I might have my gf take the MINI.  It's British too - well, at least it's built there.

We are just going to drive over on Saturday morning.  Anyone in the triad or triangle want to meet for breakfast and caravan over with us.  We need to hook up with the Charlotte crowd somewhere along the way and all cruise in together.

That's what I was thinking. We need to find a place on 77 to hook up. I'm not familiar with that stretch of road, does anybody have a suggestion?

There looks like there is a service station on the west side of I-77 at CC Camp Road (Hwy 268).  Check it out on Google maps.  Everything else looks like it's way off the highway.

I'm up for a breakfast meetup and drive-in.

That will probably be the best place to bring the whole contingent together. I'll organize gathering the Charlotte convoy together.
