The autocross was a blast. It was the first time I ran anything in an event like that. I realized two things the Lotus is capable of pushing the limits and is very forgiving, and secondly I need to learn how to drive better. All in all we ran 5 runs a piece and each run improved dramatically. There was no rain that day and the course was pretty dry but still got to slide a little. Hopefully we can sponsor something like this or maybe even a track event where we could try time attacks. Just a thought, since this is extremely addictive! steering
PS how do you post pictures???

Here's some pics from me

A great day out.  Shame I couldn't stay longer.  Overheard a few people saying that there should have been more than one class for the Lotus as there were so many there.  I can't remember the last time I saw so many Lotus in one place at one time since I went to a factory visit when Colin Chapman was still alive.  Good effort, everyone.

To post pictures right now, you have to host them somewhere else and link to them.  Russ didn't get it fixed so we could upload directly to his server.  If you want, I can host them on out Corvette Club web space.  I have several gigs of unused space.  Just email me your pictures and I'll take care of the rest.  garyb at triad dot rr dot com

Glad to hear it was so much fun. I know Russ definatley is planning a drive next month and we were talking about doing some sort of track event or driving school at some point.

Also sorry about the gallery and thanks Burple for offering to host the them.

There is an HPDE at VIR on Memorial Day if the track bug has really bitten you.  I started a thread about it...
