Hey gang, it was good seeing the Charlotte crowd last weekend. I'd like to pull something together for next month - Lets have some suggestions.

For example, we could all meet up at the Charlotte Cars & Coffee, then do a drive up north.

It was good to see everyone this weekend too!  I think we talked about this after you left, but we were thinking of doing a mountain drive the weekend of March 13-14 with a possible overnight.  Bob is researching some routes and such, but all will depend on weather and road conditions.  We were thinking that Plan B could be a trip to Lotus of Durham to see/test drive the Evora.  If we had a big enough group (ideal customer demographic), maybe they would put something together for us?  Just some ideas...let me know what you guys think!

I can reach out to Lotus. I've met one of their guys several times at cars and coffee and have his card laying around someplace.

Any other suggestions?

I went skiing last weekend and wouldn't be too excited about a mountain drive.  Boone was an absolute mess and my Acura was caked in inches of salt, muck, and mud.  Even where it was dry, the gray mud/dust was floating in the air like pollen.  The foothills, however, were in decent shape.  Maybe we could do the Brushy Mountains for a change...?

The good news is that Sugar Mountain looks more like Aspen than Banner Elk.  Best NC ski trip ever.  I've never seen so much snow - not even in Steamboat Springs, CO.

No matter what we decide to do, I'm in!

I haven't gone to the random smiley well in a while, so I'll end with this one: pint

yeah, going up as high as Boone or Banner Elk is probably out because of the snow and residual mess, but there are some good lower elevation roads we can hit.

Cleaned her up and took a nice drive this weekend.  The weather is starting to turn and I'm getting itchy to have a meet.  Any more ideas?

I'm open for a drive on this Saturday or Sunday.  So far the forecast looks a little iffy, but hopefully it will improve.

This sounds like fun.  I didn't know there was a WS car club.  I'll try to make it.  Put me on the email list for the club.  mirroredshades@yahoo.com

The Corsa Rossa club is a mixture of folks with sports cars old and new. They meet 2nd Tuesday of each month at Big Shotz on Stratford in Winston-Salem starting at 7pm. We usually have some sort of interesting speaker.

I test drove the route for the winery drive organizers and it is VERY  GOOD! the first part is not too great and just takes us out to the twisty roads, but after that the route has some fantastic twisty bits.

Scott, can you post a google map for the twisty bits to the winery? I'm getting my taxes done that morning and will be a little late.
