My radio hates my Burnt cds

The stock radio in my '05 GTO hates burnt cds. It plays the early tracks fine, but then the later tracks skip, no matter what. Is it the player, the cds, me? It plays store-bought cds just fine. Anybody else have this problem or have suggestions on what to do?

Check the CD that you wrote to. Which type is it?
CD-R (recordable, write once)
CD-RW (rewritable)
The CD-RW disks are not as reflective as regular CD's and may not work in all CD players. If it's CD-RW, try writing to a CD-R disk and see that will play.
