Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a senior in Mech. Engr. at Clemson and president of the Clemson Sports Car Club. Unfortunately, I don't own a lotus yet. Key word yet. Hope you guys don't mind me joining your forum. Just looked around a little and man, I forgot how awesome these cars really are. Currently drive a 2000 Civic Si for autox/daily driving duty.

I was the president of the Embry-Riddle University Sport Compact & Import Club for a few years. Amazing how engineers and pilots are drawn to things automotive. Welcome!

lol How about this. I'll see what I can do, if you come to our upcoming motorsports festival April 19th at Clemson. It's a great event to come check out. Last year was our first annual event and it's expected to grow and be even better this year. Custom trophies, t-shirts, music, food and lots of cool cars. Although I'm sure you guys could add to the list of cool cars. Hope your interested. Let me know if you have any questions. Ross

Welcome. Another Engineer here I did Mechanical and Electrical, coz I couldn't decide which I liked best! Now 15 years after graduating, I'm not sure I'm either anymore! I may take a drive down on the 19th.

Welcome. Another Engineer here I did Mechanical and Electrical, coz I couldn't decide which I liked best! Now 15 years after graduating, I'm not sure I'm either anymore! I may take a drive down on the 19th. Great! Wow, ME and EE, your crazy. I never could seem to get those crazy circuits and stuff that you can't see. lol Either way, I'm almost done with ME and hope to get a job somewhere in the upstate. Who knows though, maybe I'll go of somewhere far from here. Either way, I'll be doing something with cars as a hobby still. Anyone else interested in the show? It's a lot of fun as I said, and we've got tons of great shops from the southeast coming that do anything from simple bolt ons, to tuning, to custom fully built race cars. BMW Performance center will be there with a nice presentation and also with some new M cars. Also, SCCA, NASA-SE, Clemson Formula SAE, Team Baja .... I could go on all night, but you get the idea. Can I count on seeing someone on here with an Espirit showing up? It'd be my first time seeing one in person.

Welcome! Can a Biologist hang with you Engineers?!?!? I am Mechanically inclined, and have owned nothing but Hondas prior to this... (Prelude, s2000, Accord, MDX, Odyssey) does that make me cool enough for this club?

... does that make me cool enough for this club? No. But that BWR supercharger might ! I am looking forward to seeing your car in person. You've done a lot of things I am going to do to mine, eventually. For now the Katana is scratching my itch.

I thought about doing mine but that leaning over and working blind is for guys your age. My motto: If it's gonna piss me off, pay someone else to do it. It has served me well!
