We only got a little over an inch, but it was cold enough to stick to the road.  My neighborhood is also not apparently on anybody's plow or salt list.  I had a fun time testing out the ABS!

We got less than an inch.  Not enough to stick on the roads, yet somehow every school in the area was cancelled.

We had about an inch too.  Roads in the county were pretty much covered this morning and slick in spots.  From news reports early this morning, the area east and south of Greensboro got the most.

On school closings, just remember that there are many rural roads in NC coupled with exactly what Dave mentioned, no salting or plowing in neighborhoods.  I remember a school kid involved in a fatal crash just a few years ago when we got one of these dustings.  It sure changed perceptions around this area.

Less than an inch in Huntersville and Gastonia.  Snowed a bit harder in Gastonia that I saw.

It was pretty much gone by lunch time though.
