That sounds like a challenge to me!  Still, swice the power adders, twice the pistons - I'll still bet on Steve's car.   thumbsup

Now driving skill is another issue  Grin

Mr. Korman called me on Friday.  Said the install went flawlessly.  That the kit was very well put together and everything fit neatly into place. .... Just one little SNAFU....  the dash (tach, speedo, odo and lights) didn't work and they were afraid to drive it for fear something that they couldn't see might not be working correctly.. like A/F mixture!  They had called Sector 111, who in turn had scratched their head for a while, apparently talked to the programmer (CharlieX, I hope/think).   Then Korman had tried on their own to contact him via email and phone.  Worse come to worst, they were going to pull the ECU and send it back for reprogramming.

Not sure if you remember, but I posted several months ago about the same problem.  I told Mr. Korman about it and that Lotus had owned up to having an issue with early '08 cars and a software fix was forthcoming.  Well, I never heard anything back from Lotus and the disconnecting the battery to reset the ECU had worked for me.  They were going to try that and get back to me......................................... well, now you are as up to date as I am Grin

I had the same problem as well.... once.  Since then I have not had any issues.  Lotus said that it "might be software" but have come back to me.  I thouhgt the best option was to play like an ostrich and keep my head in the sand until it happened again or I took it back to the shop.

Good luck.  I am lookng forward to seeing how well yours work before I take the dive!

Sorry to hear you had the same problem, but happy to see that like mine, it only happened once.  Now the big questions is, is the issue going to spoil tuning the ECU?

I'll give you a ride when I get it back.  What I would really like to have is a subtle graphic, maybe just an "SC" to go over the "California" decal.

My car is DONE!  Mr. Korman called yestday evening to let me know.  They did have to send the ECU back to have the dash issues fixed.  CharlieX was familiar with the problem and had no trouble fixing it.  Plans are to pick the car up on Thursday after it dries up a bit.  With all the salt on the road from last week and all the rain this week, we didn't want to have that mixture thrown up all over the aluminum chasis.  Providing we don't find any problems on the test drive, it will be back in my basement tomorrow.  clapping

The drive is implied. The pics are the immediate gratification.

Russ, you missed the point, I was giving you credit for being smart enough to stay out of the cockpit!  thumbsup

There really isn't much to look at.  The supercharger tucks in very low between the engine and firewall.  If you didn't know what you were looking at, you would never realize it was there.
