I avoid LotusTalk like the plague. I was so excited when I bought my car, then made the mistake of posting on there... they bashed my car like it was a used Pinto. I really have a hard time believing that the forum owner and moderators let the rants go. They could get rid of about half a dozen members and significantly enhance the site.

That must be an awfully large boat. And woman.
Many people don't use basic courtesy when they message anonymously on the net. Seems like the indirect nature somehow excuses them, makes it so less personal. Also, they are protected from immediate direct response (a$$ kicking) if they are rude.
Remember, most people on Lotustalk seem to be 30 something geeks without girlfriends, for good reason.
