If they are available for your year, EBC yellow stuff pads

They'll be a significant upgrade over stock, but won't sqeak too badly or make a mess of your wheels. Anything more aggressive really starts to become impractical for street use.

Brakes?... You don't need no stinkin' brakes, 'cept for the parking brake!

Seriously, aside from the mess on the wheels, I like the stock units.  The car is so light and handles so well, brakes are the last thing that should need improving.

It's an Esprit, and an older one at that. Until they went to the Brembo and AP disks, the brakes were not always the highlight of the car.

Thanks guys. I'll see if my buds at JAE have the EBC's. If not, we'll get the next best thing. The rears are pretty much shot but I think I'll do all four corners. I tend to pamper my car so something strictly competition oriented would be silly for me.

I appreciate your advice. You are right, braking is overrated.

These guys at JAE are so good at what they do. I just sent an e-mail and Jeff Robinson already responded. Luv that PST. He completely recommends EBC Yellow Stuff for the Turbo Esprit. They stock them so, there's a set on its way. Thanks again.

Russ, didn't you say you upgraded to ceramic brakes?
