I guess I've finally lost my Yankee tolerance to cold weather. It took 5 years for my blood to thin, but I am guessing that I am in I am now in full Northern Decline (TM).  So, what is next? The ability to drive in rain, much less snow? Inability to use indicators while changing lanes? Sudden urges to buy mass quantities of milk and bread whenever there is a slight threat of snow?

I am suffering from similar symptoms!  Hopefully a couple weeks in Maine during Christmas will help me regain some of that tolerance.

So, tell me again exactly why ya'll come down here in the first place  dontknow  Seems that in appreciation for NOT being up to your butthole in snow from September until May, NOT having to store your "good" car in a plastic bag while driving a rust bucket for 9 months and NOT having to pay 4 prices for everything... dodging a few cars in the rain, learning to anticipate what the redneck in front of you is going to do and doing without bread and milk if you aren't quick enough when the "S" word is mentioned is a small price to pay.  :devilish

But it is cold.

I was up in Pittsburgh yesterday - bloody cold!

Was speaking to a company about joining them, but they want me to move up there - not sure I'm convinced about parking my car for 6 months though    Sad

Amen! Born and raised in Upstate NY. Lived in Harrisburg PA for 13 years. I'll deal with the mosying and everything else. I'm loving it. My Esprit keeps asking if it has to go to its room.

8.4 degrees last night according to my weather station.  Yeah, that's right, I have a weather station at my house.  You got a problem with that?  icon_tongue
