I've got a full exhaust setup - the cat is still there, but has a straight pipe welded through it. From there, it goes through 3" piping to a Magnaflow muffler and stainless exhaust tip. I've also done a K&N filter and re-routed the intake to bypass the airbox. I'm not sure if you count the V8 wheels as a mod, but I did that too. The result is the occasional backfire and flame thrower spectacular Next on the list is a chip, fuel injectors, and blow-off valve. Then I'll be "done" modifying the car, but we all know that's not true. The best performance upgrades I've done are really just fixes of broken things like a dead chargecooler pump and weak wastegate spring. The car is like night and day from when I bought it.

Multivex mirrors - a MUST on a car with huge blind spots. Micromirror - Kinda unnecessary since I can't really see out the rear window. Anyone with an Elise want to buy it? De-snorkel + K&N filter - Oh, louder. Stage II exhaust - Louder still. Test pipe/decat - REALLY loud. Odyssey battery - weight savings ~ 10lbs HID headlights. My wish list includes a supercharger and rear clam hinge. Someday...

ECU remap, high-flow cats, deleted muffler, K&N air filters. After a few cosmetic things I need to take care of, I'm going to get a blow off kit. That ought to do it. Maybe a couple of Tornados in the intake pipes. (kidding)
I do want to get the rearview mirror etched for the Valentine radar.
That should be it until I see something else I like........................

I'm kind of in the same boat - I need to take care of some cosmetic things and some basic mechanical things before moving onto real mods.

Let's not race No wonder I couldn't get you off my bumper. Hopefully after a chip and injectors my backfires will be even louder.

I have done quite a bit, but there always seems to be more on my wish list than funds available!
ECU Upgrade; switches into 2nd cam a bit earlier RTD Brace; to stiffen up the back end a bit Braille Battery; wieght K40 Radar/Laser System; purely a safety item! Schroth 4 Point Harness and bar; passengers don't normally like the hassle, but I love!! Arqray Double Tip Exhaust w/ Sport Cat;
Cosmetic...... Custom made Rear Grill Carbon Fiber: Rear Diffuser, Front Splitter & Side Scoops Sector 111: Trunk Bootie, Mircomirror & Al carpet buttons Alpine Stereo JBL Speakers
I also have two sets of wheels; one for everyday and a set of LSS for the track.

my biggest mod to date was probably when I took it to LOD for service. One thing I didn't like about my Elise was the lack of legroom in the passenger seat. I mean, if you're over 5'5 or so you can't stretch out. I was down there waiting for my car and sat in a newer Elise. It had a lot more legroom. Come to find out, the previous owner of my car had installed a subwoofer in the passenger floorboard behind the footrest. It came out and all is well.

Where did you mount the V1? I may have to hardwire mine before next weekend.
