I just called Lake Lure Inn.  They have plenty of rooms for the night of Nov. 15.  The main inn standard rate is $155/night plus tax.  The motor lodge is $129/night plus tax for standard or $149/night plus tax for the suites.  Here is a link to the property http://www.lakelure.com/lake_lure_inn.php

OK, given the time constraints, I'm going to go ahead and shut this thraed down. Lake Lure it is. We'll figure out where we are staying, who is pending the night, who is doing the day trip, etc in the shiny new official thread  glasses9
