So AC recharge session 2...

The first time I tried it from under the car with a "no tools required" can of R-134.  I ended up spraying myself with refrigerant and cut the hell out of my hand and got almost no charge into the system...Fail.

This time, I bought a real can of R-134 with oil, a hose, a gauge, and a valve system and did it from above the engine.  The system sucked up the refrigerant in a minute and blows "ice cold."  The whole job took 10 minutes which is only bad because I have too much beer left over.  If anybody ever needs to charge their AC, I'll be happy to help.

I just had mine refilled when they put hte motor back in. It will absolutely freeze your ass to the seats now.
