Meet for Lunch in Winston-Salem off Highway 150 (near exit 100 off Highway 52) at El Paisano, which is a great mexican restaurant.  The owner has a yellow Elise and has offered to block off part of the parking lot and give us a group discount on lunch.  From there we would caravan down I-40 to Greensboro to go to the indoor Go Kart track.

More details as we get closer. As usual, all makes and models are welcome to attend. Please respond to this thread if you will be able to make it and keep your eye on this post as I will update it with details as things progress.

Here's a map to the restaurant:

Confirm me please.

As I said in the other thread, the sooner the better for people to commit so I can let the track know what to expect.  I'd like to have the list sealed up at least a full week before the event (two would be better) so we still have some time, but I'd like to get a rough idea soon.

Thanks!

We have some options for the races here.  I think our best bet would be to get a 2 race pack which is $34 per person and guarantees we'd all be racing eachother, "with the computer in race mode" as the guy put it.  This includes an F1 style standing start Smiley  That way we get our own class and get the track to ourselves.  There is also a 3 race pack available for $45 a head.

The only problem is that I need to put down a deposit for half of the racers and a minimum of 8 racers ($136) which I don't mind doing, but I really want to make sure we have at least 10 committed before I start writing checks.

The last option is that we just show up and race with what's available...we might be able to get our own class or we might be placed with whoever else is there.  He said they have no events scheduled for the 6th so that might be a viable option.

Thoughts?

I'm for the $34 per person with our own class.  It'll be me +1.
