Looks like perfect weather for this weekend, not that bad weather should keep anyone from coming, but a hurricane might be an exception to that rule. No threat of that anymore.

Looks like Kevin will be joining us with his 512 BB as well as Brian in his Mini Cooper.

Just got off the phone with Mac's Lake Norman - they are going to rope off a section of the lot for us.  thumbsup

Where is that? Linky?

lol - I didn't realize that Macs was actually called Macs Speed Shop. They have great BBQ and will cater to groups like us. I just left a message with the manager, so we'll try and get something going there.
Sorry, I haven't been frequenting this site lately. I saw you said it was going to be at Mac's in the e-mail you just sent out, though. Thanks for taking my suggestion.

Had a ball today. Sorry to those that we lost on the drive  blushing

The show was a good time and JnC beat out the Ferrari's for the best in class award.

I've created the gallery section and will post pics later.

Also worth noting:

Another one of 'our crowd' beat out a bunch of other high end cars to win its' class...  Brian in his real Mini!

After talking to everybody today, it sounds as if we are going to have 30-40 cars heading to EuroFest!

One more thing - It was awesome meeting MC36. What a nice NSX! I've never seen a targa before. This was also the first time we've ended a drive with more cars than we started. The maroon Elise was a great addition (great timing) - next time bring the Ultima GTR!

Saturday afternoon was a blast!

It was nice to meet you guys and thanks for letting the 'odd ball' join the Lotus crew.  Had a lot of fun talking cars and a lot of fun on the drive. Great roads and the Elises are supper fast!  Can't wait to spread the word about the Club and to get others in on the fun.

Thanks again and I will be joining in the fun again real soon.  Might try to make EuroFest (is that allowed with a Japanese car?)

Hey Michael,

It was nice meeting you on Saturday.

They are pretty strict about showing non-European cars at Eurofest.  Last year I remember them not allowing a nice classic 240Z to come into the show.  With that being said, it's a great show to check out and I'd definitely recommend coming to check out what is on display.  Just don't be offended if they wont let you show the NSX, even though it is a beautiful car.
