Guys, I had such a blast today!  Thanks to Gary for showing us the amazing mountain roads. That is easily the hardest I've pushed the Esprit by a factor of 3 and I was really impressed with how well it handled. My mouth hurts from smiling so much. Now I just need to improve the car's driver. I've also learned that tire shine is a BAD idea. Apologies to Steve for backfiring on his bumper  |

So just how long before I can take a bright colored Lotus up to Stokes county without being sought after? just kidding- Anyway, glad you guys had fun. If you get a chance, I'd love to hear your route. I'm fairly familar with the roads up there, so just curious where you went. |

We got kind of a late start, so I just took them on a brief jaunt up Hwy 8/89 to Lynchburg Road/Hwy 268 to Dan George Road to Moores Spring Road to Hanging Rock Road. If we do this again, we'll leave a little earlier and maybe do Tuggles Gap. Here's a map of our route:  |
