Been wanting to do this for some time but wasnt sure how it would look so always put it off. Was wanting to paint the door recess black following the curvature of the Elise and finally decided to pull the trigger and just Do-it. Heres some pics of the process and finished look.
Also changed the center console and went with a two-tone look to accent the shift knob and e-brake.

you cant beat the MR2 especially with the gas prices. I got that for my daily driver due to #1 fun factor, #2 gas factor. I am averaging over 30MPG with every fill up. Of course I would rather have the vette as a daily driver but never did like putting alot of miles on them due to the deprication loss. So I qualify as frugal.
Why is it taking over three weeks for service? What are you having done???
