I could go out to 52 then south.  I don't know that area well, do you have an exit or rest stop in mind?

Steve, if you come down I-40 bypass into Winston, then hit 52 South, you and Dave can meet at the Hardees on Clemmonsville Road (first exit you come to).  Beyond that, there isn't much more on 52.  I won't be coming along on this ride but I figured I knew the area a little better to make a suggestion.

If you go all the way out I-85 to 52, you'll be in Salisbury.  I-40 to 52 is not any further for you.

Exit 100 off Highway 52 is Hickory Tree Rd.  There is a Walgreens there which is very easy on and off of 52.  Give me a ring tomorrow and we can set it up.

The Hardees works too if you want to get some food before the drive, but I figured we'd just eat when we get there (assuming I can fix Chernobyl).

Well, as per usual at our events, there is a chance of rain on Saturday. Once, just once, I'd like the forecast to be bright and sunny, although I'm sure that would mean we end up with a hurricane.

The positive thing is the chance of rain is only for isolated thunderstorms and the temperatures are cool enough so I wont cook in the sun with the top off.

When I planned my event last month, I worked it out so it didn't rain ... can't you do that?

AWESOME! I would assume we'll have your Testarossa and Bob's new toy out (I'm not telling anybody what he bought). Who knows, maybe he'll bring the S1.  :devilish

Weather looks ominous for tomorrow, but at least we have the ability to be inside. If we do get rain, we may bin the drive, but we'll definitely be eating - we have to, Lisa and I have to get all this food gone before we move next weekend Smiley

Hell, if we can't drive, maybe we'll throw a car up on the lift replace any of the parts that have fallen off recently.  ROFL

I still don't know what to bring.  Should I pick up some beer?

For everyone that's coming could you please pm me what you are bringing so I can confirm it. Let's get an idea of that first before we get specific.

I know that some of you coming a longer distance are concerned about space and what have you. That's fine. We believe there is a grocery store right up the road that you can stop at or I'll collect money and go.

No stresses we just want to see cool cars and have fun.

We are asuming two per car ;-)   If some don't have co pilots thats fine. We are also feeding the Velocity guys. LC and I are planning on feeding 30. SO... DON'T LET THE WEATHER SCARE YOU OFF! It's proper British weather. We *may* can the drive, but I'm sure we'll find something interesting to get into  :devilish Regardless, it will be worthwhile for everybody to meet the guys at Velocity. They have plenty of space inside for us to hang out in and are some of the best bunch of guys I've met. It sounds like in addition to Eric, we will have the owner and chief mechanic around as well

And just to clarify (ie Save My A$$), LC is ALWAYS on the list  notworthy
