I was thinking about a T off the turbo hoses and sticking a couple of Kazoo's in there instead of the valves....
It's already been done...We taped three kazoos to a friend's SARD BOV at the SE 2001 Toyota MR2 meet. He didn't notice so when we all went for a drive we nearly drove off the road laughing every time he shifted. It was the funniest sound I've heard from a car.

To get into a little more detail about the function of a BOV, it is designed to sit somewhere in the post-turbocharger intake piping. It is a valve held closed by a spring and positive pressure from the car's vacuum system (when under boost). When you close the throttle, the turbocharger is still spinning and trying to shove all that boost into a closed throttle plate. In the case of the Esprit, this boost results in compressor "surge" which is the result of that boost pressure running backwards through the turbo which makes a loud flutter sound.
The solution is a blow off valve, which was originially designed to extend the life of a turbo by preventing the compressor surge. Then people started to figure out how totally cool they sounded so they started showing up on just about every modified car with a turbo. They got so pupular than you can actually buy a fake BOV which has a speaker mounted under the hood and makes a fake swoosh sound when the throttle closes. Now that's lame.
