Christopher,
I was told awhile back that there was a cruise-in on Fridays in the Parking lot by Fat-Boys and Big Lots in West Columbia. Which Fri of the month though I cant remember. Have you heard anything about this? I'd like to check it out but I usually work on Fri Nights.

Perhaps I can convince my sweetheart to check it out tonight if we motor in to Columbia for dinner.

I'll also do a quick web search to see if I can find anything.

There is a weekly car gathering every Monday night at the parking lot behind Brusters Ice Cream in Cornelius/Huntersville. The address is 17029 Kenton Rd. Basically this is off of W. Catawba Ave that goes by the Midtown Sundries that we met at in March, but near the corner of Catawba Ave and Sam Furr Road. 704-896-2886

The hours are from 5:30pm until dark.

I went there once last year. Not too many people, mainly seventies muscle cars, occasionally some euro cars. It might be nice to have a local spot to meet for the Charlotte folks.

There looks like a pretty tasty "concours" show at Graylyn in September 19/20.  Looks like a don't miss.

That's a good show.  They have been doing it for years.  Graylyn is a nice place too.

It's been a while, but I was at Sonic on my bike last summer.  Pretty cool place on Friday nights.

The layout of this site is a little whack but here is another resource for finding car shows.

Let me know if you go, I may try to check it out too.

There is a cruise in near us in Stanley but it's pretty much all hotrods and classic cars so I never went to that with the Lotus.

We're going to go.  Not sure what kind of cars will be there, but we'll stop by for a bit and check it out.l

Chuck, if you get the same reactions I get, the muscle car/hot rod crowd will love you.  We do the monthly cruise in at Fire Mountain in Kernersville and people flock to the Lotus.
