Any of you Charlotte locals going to be around? I'm thinking about popping the car out for lunch and / or a beer. Nothing exciting or formal, just a chance to use the car before it goes in for service.

I've got the Elise taken apart right now. Going to be changing the tranny fluid over the weekend and checking a few other things.

Hey Bob, I switching to Redline MT-90. Over the Winter when the Elise was cold, it would fight me a little to go into gear to the point of almost having a slight clunk when shifting for the first few minutes.
It worked wonders in the old C5 so I figure it is good insurance!

I have MT-90 in my car too and I have a stiff cold 2-3 shift. It always goes away as soon as the car is warmed up.
When I had my Z06, I had a very cold temp grind on the 3-4 shift (it only happened when ambient temp was below 15 in Maine). I never tried any fluid solutions for it.
