Allbrit - you guys missed what I did to him. He was trying to keep pace with you two, but got stuck behind traffic. I was behind him and shot the gap that he could never make. He looked whipped, just whipped as I went by. Lotuschick waved as we went.

S4 Esprit - sounds like you beat the weather. alilbrit and I got caught in it but he was able to continue on. The Esprit was sideways anytime I went over 30mph in the rain, so we pulled over at exit 23 and had a drink. The ride home was still a challenge, but we made it. That said, we had much less distance to cover and I'm glad you made it alright. After following MYRELISE and alilbrit in the rain, it's obvious that the Elise does better in the rain - granted  I need new rear tires but,  every time I I hit the powerband in my car, the backend wanted to pass the frontend.

Lisa and I had a ball today, it's been all we could talk about since. We have some great ideas about things to do over the summer. What a great group of people!

Not Elises shod with A048s! I stopped off in Davidson because of the heavy rain and did a little impromptu grocery shopping. Then drove slowly home on the back roads.

The gallery is up and running mow, just hit the button at the top of the page. Unfortunately I don't quite have the system configured to the point where I can let you all post your own pictures there, but I'll work on it for next time. In the meantiime, I'll swipe some of the better pics from this thread and add them myself. Don't forget to leave a comment on the pics you like - we may have some sort of contest for the most viewed / commented picture at the end of the year Smiley

Should I be surprised that the Mini was able to keep up with everyone? I wish I had a picture of him trying to pass Hector in the Testarossa!

I got a good laugh out your post!  I thought he was part of the Paparazzi for a second there.  He was lighting the back of the Elise up with pictures at the stop light.

Hopefully he got a movie of the onramp to show his buddies as well!  ;-)

Again, had a great time.  If anyone is available for a weekend of mountain/ Tail of the Dragon driving March (28-30), check out the thread I started in the Events section....

I would KILL to have video of that!  Tongue   I'm laughing myself to death wondering what Brian was thinking. I'm sure Hector was a little shocked at the attempt.

I noticed your tires and thought you might have trouble!  Very sensible to stop and wait.

Glad I swapped over to my 'street' tires for the day.

I wish we were a little closer to the front to see that.
